New House: Garden Issues

2010 | Health, Home and Garden

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of SaferBrand. All opinions are 100% mine.

So we’ve finally started work on the new house, moved a bunch of plants across two counties to get them there and it was too rainy to plant! So, like bib babies, the boys mowed the lawn in the pouring rain. Even with the rain, though (and in true Missouri fashion), there were already bugs everywhere. This bothers me so much, because being a semi-green, organics loving girl, the idea of spraying a lot of poison on what I’ll end up eating (or even just introducing those products into the environment) doesn’t appeal to me.

But at the same time I hate to start out in a new house with caterpillars and whatnot all over the place, eating all of the brand new plants. We may as well give up before we even start if that’s what’s going to happen, it’s not worth the fight sometimes. I want to try EndALL insect spray because, if the website’s information is anything to go by, it’s the be-all, end all of safe insect sprays.

They say it’s great for organic gardening, as it won’t leave your soil contaminated (dissolves into the soil!), and it’s safe to use for everything from fruits and veggies to flowers, trees and shrubs. Heck, you can even use it on your house plants to get rid of caterpillars, white flies, beetles, etc. without a lot of risk of contamination and harm to your family and pets.

I, personally, do not use insecticides due to their impact on not only the environment, but we’ve got a 4 month old white shepherd puppy who gets into absolutely everything, what if she were to dig in the garden and the ground were contaminated? I’d feel a lot better about using SaferĀ® Brand End ALL to get rid of our pests, if for no other reason than to keep our Lilly from harm.

If you have this problem and have a few minutes, you should check out their website and do a little research on their products and tell me what you think.
