A New Webhost May Be In My Future

Not that I don’t like my current webhost or anything, it’s fine except you can barely upload anything, it kicks me for no reason and if I try and use a WordPress function (heaven forbid!) it may ban my IP from the server. Okay, I get that it’s for security reasons and I’m thrilled with that, but why am I paying an arm and a leg when I could go back to BangGraphix and actually be able to use my website?
That being said, I still have to see what’s out there. Any thoughts? Good hosts? Above all, cheap?

I’m with SurpassHosting.com. They’re decently enough priced and their uptime and servers are good.
Saying that, one of my accounts was on a dodgy as hell server. However, i kicked up a fuss, they listened after i threatened to move elsewhere and moved me onto a new server, free of charge.
They’re always willing to help out and their support’s very good. I’d recommend them.

I’ve done Surpass, and being a download-heavy website they just didn’t agree with me at the time (though, that’s been a few years now – always worth another look!). I work in the support business for a web host, and so when something like this happens — knowing full well what goes into a host from my years of customer support – I tend to think, “Enough, no more excuses!”.
I’ve been told that bytehost is decent, I may give them a go at some point but I’ll definitely look into Surpass again – thanks!
