Giveaway: Free Jeans? Me first, me first!

I don’t have many pairs of jeans, mostly because I can never find a pair that fit me right, fit my look and fit my lifestyle.

I’m not a fan of jean leggings, I know they’re popular (and they look sooo good on people who can pull them off), but they don’t look right on me. Flares I like, but they’re a bit too bell-bottom-y for my shape. Wide leg, now we’re getting somewhere. And jeans that come in red, gray or white? Just have to say – hello 1990s, how I’ve missed you!

Personally I love dark wash jeans in a wide leg or boot cut, once again it’s a throwback to my youth during the 1990s when there was such a thing as Jean culture, and which jeans you wore said a lot about you. I always hung out with the skaters and trendoids, but I was a goth and white jeans with a black, off-the-shoulder band tshirt and black combat boots? You couldn’t go wrong with that – you got to be goth AND wear bright colors and whites in the 90s and nobody thought it was weird – I had a friend who used to wear head-to-toe purple, but she was a flat-out goth. And she looked adorable – still does!

My skater friends wore wide leg jeans and corduroy jeans they called "cords", and so I developed a love for wide leg jeans that way. Plus they’re so very flattering on so many body types, and Express has an amazing selection!

As you may have noticed, I’m a bit of a giveaway nut. I love to enter them, I jump at any chance to have them myself (watch this space for a book giveaway!) and, the best part of a giveaway, is obviously when you win. What can you win? Free women’s jeans!

What am I talking about? Why do I sound crazy? All good questions. But let’s move on, away from my insanity, to the fun thing I’m driving at. The beautiful, on-trend store Express has decided to give away a pair of FREE Express jeans to a lucky winner!

It’s not hard to enter the Express giveaway, all you have to do is head over to their Facebook page to enter and invite your friends to do the same.
